when I was 8, I wrote an ad for Bunny Bread.
It was probably shit. Unimportant.
Thinkin’ ‘bout bread.
Hi, I’m Paige Moomey, an Associate Creative Director, writer, and proud owner of a custom-embroidered shirt that says “Hot Grandma.”
I first felt it—that smooth frisson, the deep-belly affirmation of Yes, I feel this and so will they—at 8 years old, after crafting a Bunny Bread commercial no one asked for.
I pitched it to my uncle and mom in the car. They were totally wowed, just like most of my clients today. Ad honestly? I don’t think it was just because I was small and they were family. YOU GUYS, I DON’T!
That was the moment I realized how thrilling it is to use imagination to connect with people. It still is.
Since then, I’ve spent over 12 years writing for brands like Netflix, Amazon, Chevy, Lyft, and Hyatt. I started in accounts and strategy, then moved into creative after completing The Second City writing program. These days, I concept and write everything from tear-jerking brand films to jokes a 12-year-old boy would find hilarious. Both are my sweet spot.
I write ads with heart, wit, and the strange ability to feel like both a hug and a punch.
I live in Chicago. I’m objectively smart and fun. (Ask my mom and uncle. They're available as references.)
